Assalamualaikum wr.wb

Yang terhormat Bapak Kepala Sekolah SMP N * Purwokerto,
  Yang terhormat Bapak Ibu Guru Staf karyawan SMP N * Purwokerto,
Dan teman-teman ku yang saya cintai.

            Pertama-tama marilah kita panjatkan puji shukur kehadirat Allah swt, karena pada kesempatan hari ini, kita dapat berkumpul kembali di tempat ini dalam keadaan sehat walafiat.

Bapak, ibu, dan teman-teman semua

            Beberapa bulan lagi kita akan memperingati salah satu hari bersejarah di Indonesia, yaitu Hari Pendidikan Nasional yang kita peringati setiap tanggal 2 Mei, setiap tahun kita semua memperingatinya dengan berbagai kegiatan, salah satunya dengan mengadakan upacara bendera.

Bapak, ibu, dan teman-teman semua

            Perlu diingat bahwa kemudahan bersekolah di masa sekarang ini tidak lepas dari perjuangan para pahlawan pendidikan seperti Ki Hajar Dewantara dan R.A Kartini. Kita semua ingat bahwa Ki Hajar Dewantara bersusah payah untuk mengeluarkan anak-anak di Indonesia dari kebodohan dengan mendirikan sekolah-sekolah, kita juga ingat bahwa R.A Kartini telah berjuang agar anak perempuan juga bisa bersekolah, karena pada saat itu hanya anak laki-laki yang di perbolehkan untuk sekolah. Dengan perjuangan yang mereka lakukan kini kita semua bisa bersekolah, karena itu kita harus menerusakan perjuangan mereka agar semua anak Indonesia bisa bersekolah.

Bapak, ibu, dan teman-teman semua

            Pada masa sekarang ini teknologi sudah maju, kita akan berangkat sekolah ada tranportasi yang mengantar kita, kita ingin belajar fasilitasnya sudah lengkap dan dapat di peroleh dengan mudah, oleh karena itu kita tidak boleh malas belajar, mengingat sebentar lagi kita juga akan menghadapi ujian nasional. Jika kita mendapat nilai yang memuaskan bukan hanya kita saja yang bangga, orang tua kita dan bapak ibu guru kita juga ikut bangga. Untuk itu, marilah dengan memperingati hari pendidikan nasional, kita bersama-sama berjuang untuk mengatasi kebodohaan dengan belajar dan bekerja keras untuk menggapai cita-cita yang kita inginkan.
